Novax,

I updated the second post with a new exe, give this a try.

If you have any problems with it, please run with -d
"aquasuitewriter.exe -d"
And paste the output.

Thank you!

You can make a Datamap to show icons with the state?

Hi @all,

i´m very new to LCDHost, trying to make a layout by myself for the last two days. That works fine for me, except for my aquaero4 since i found this thread...

Now i have some questions:
- Does Aquawriter.exe assemble data from the old version of Aquasuite? Mine is for the old aquaero4, the new Aquasuite doesn´t work with it...
- I can make Aquasuite write a Logfile.xml which i namend aqua-temp.xml and all data (like Temperatures, Fanspeed etc) is transfered to this file, but it seems that Aquawriter.exe can´t handle it, the aqua-temp-mod.xml file stays empty...

Maybe my understanding of xml files and stuff like that isn´t very solid, i just copy and paste most of these things to get it to work... Making a layout for LCDHost wasn´t that complicated because of the drag-and-drop thing that makes it very easy to use... It´s most possible that i misunderstood or fail to understand the whole thing.

Any advice will be appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Aquasuitewriter is only for Aquasuite 2014. the XML of Aquasuite4 is totaly diffrent - thats why the converted files is empty.

For the old software you need only to write the xmlfile to disk. LCDHost can read this file without a datamap file.

Check the dataviewer thread in lcdhost plugin section for more information ;)

Hi micpt,

and thanks for your help :). I thought of something like that, but couldn´t figure it out by myself.

So that this is clear, some different problems showing up, but that has nothing to do with Aquasuite...
