My first (G19 LCARS) Layout
« on: 2011-05-07 22:45:33 »

Made this after learning from the included layouts how it works. Never got around naming or commenting stuff, it's all a mess really, the only thing you can learn from this is how not to. Required Swiss911 TTF fonts are included in the zip, no idea about substitutes for other OSes, sorry ;)

Glad you like it and thanks for cleaning up my mess a bit! Since you seem to be more experienced with lcdhost, do you know of a way to get animation on this thing? Like an animated gif or looping image sequence or something, would've loved to animate the earth globe. Also i couldn't find a way to get long/lat via plugins, had to hardcode that.

tks, for animations, either you can use the webkit to display a sequence a images (see this layout), or, like me, wait for SR to integrate animated gif.... ;D

Great work both of you.

btw, I really like the bar-on-graph approach here, eg, cpu usage & core temperatures. That's very clever way to fit two types of data into the same area.

Great layout, thanks for making it.

To give something back, I made the globus spin! :D

But I can't attach the file. I get this error message while trying to upload a 2.8 MB ZIP file:

"Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow."

thank you lancalot for putting the file back online, I totally forgot about it.  :-[

I the G19 LCARS you posted compatible with LCDHost V. 37?
I'm still using version 34 with LCARS because I'm not sure it'll work with the latest.
